The hosts were extremely accommodating, giving me the feeling that “as long as we’re fine, that’s all that matters.” They recommended taxi companies and caterers, both of which were excellent. When the host learned we’d be spending the day by the pool, they arranged a nice setup and partial decoration, letting us play music however we liked; it truly felt like our own weekend home, except that someone had to tidy up. On the downside, the Google‑Maps distance of about 25‑30 min is accurate, but the route was almost a reason for some taxi drivers to leave us stranded on the street; using a taxi company from Alaro solves that. The seclusion is intentional, so you must accept these drawbacks.
