“Should remove this hotel (maybe more others) since they cannot provide service for foreigners”

I was really looking forward to staying here, but it didn't work out - the hotel told me they can't accommodate foreigners, which was a bit of a nightmare to deal with. Apparently, there's some Chinese government rules about hotels servicing foreigners, but I think it's worth noting that this caused me a fair bit of hassle, having to change my taxi plans and scramble to find a new place to stay. I assumed hotels listed here were prescreened, but I guess that's not always the case.

Arrived pretty late, around 23 Uhr, and my booking wasn't showing up, but the staff still managed to check me in. The standard room was huge - I mean, you could literally dance in there - and the big double bed was super comfy. The breakfast was more than enough to get me going, and I felt pretty good for my 12-hour stay. Overall, it was a pleasant experience despite the late arrival.
