The staff were welcoming.
The location wasn't far from the central gate exit of Tsuruhashi station; walking takes about 7‑9 minutes. If you have luggage, take the central gate exit; if you only have a backpack, take the east exit, which is closer to the hostel but has no lift. Only stairs reach the 2nd and 3rd floors, which is fine for a young person.
“It's an okay place”
The room was tidy and came with clear AC instructions, and the train station was a short walk even with light luggage. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores within walking distance. The in‑room washer/dryer only handles a shirt at a time, so for larger loads you’ll need to walk to a nearby laundromat to dry. After hours, getting a response from staff was tough, and you have to climb stairs—no elevator—while lugging your bags. The room had a moldy or humid smell, and it lacked the small hand soap and toothbrush shown in the photos, which made washing my hands a bit inconvenient.
“Great location, comfortable stay.”
I loved the location, the room was clean, tidy, and warm, and it was very close to the train station for a quick city trip; I also enjoyed being in Koreatown.
The location was good, but there was no elevator.
