We had a lovely stay at this hotel, with a beautiful pool and super-helpful staff. The only downside was that the breakfast was pretty plain - just bread, butter, and jam.

I was really impressed by the friendly staff, but unfortunately, our lack of a common language made communication a bit of a challenge. The hotel itself felt a bit deserted, like we were the only guests, and the breakfast options were pretty basic.

We had an amazing time at La Tarenga - the concierge went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and the hotel itself is a hidden gem. The only thing that would've made it perfect is if everything had been just a bit more polished.
