“it was good just a. few things disappointed us”
We appreciated how spacious and clean the lodge was, plus the free parking. The spot is about a 30‑minute drive from Windermere, with Grasmere a little further out. We had to pay £5 a day for Wi‑Fi, which was disappointing since other cabins offered it free. The TV kept shutting off, and when we checked out it was actually free until 11 pm, yet they tried to push us out at 10 am—felt like a scam. Staying longer cost £20 an hour.

The staff were very good and friendly , and always helpful. Now it is coming autumn the room was at times a little cool
