The breakfast was great and the service staff were friendly, but the hotel was far from the centre, requiring a taxi or a half‑hour walk; the rooftop pool was not heated. We flew out early the last morning, so we were promised a packed breakfast, yet at the last‑minute we were told they didn’t prepare it and only offered a hot drinks corner with cookies, apples, and that’s all.

A great stay with a nice pool and restaurant, and the staff were very helpful; breakfast was good. The only downside was the walk to town and the hotel being surrounded by construction, which spoiled the view from the window.

“A disappointing stay that fell short of five-star expectations and did not justify the €250 nightly”

The room was nice, but arriving at 9 pm we discovered the Sky Bar was closed for a private event that we hadn’t been told about, leaving us with just one restaurant; the elevators were jammed with event guests so we had to climb the stairs. The restaurant seemed to have only two staff, causing a long wait. Parking was confusing with no clear instructions for guests. At about €250 a night, the room didn’t live up to five‑star expectations: only two small water bottles, no minibar or fridge, a disappointing view, a shower but no bath, and a large bed made of two mattresses. I told the manager, who promised an email, but I haven’t heard back.
