I liked how close the station was, but the building felt a bit old.

The location was great and the retro vibe charming, they even kept my luggage, offered free ice, water and tea, and gave a complimentary welcome sweet potato shochu, making it good value; however, the facilities felt dated and not very clean, there were only stairs so noise echoed and a few staff members weren’t very friendly.

Breakfast wasn’t bad and most of the staff were pleasant, though the place does feel a bit old‑fashioned; on the downside, some older employees were problematic and the lack of an elevator makes it unsuitable for guests with mobility issues.

It was good to try the shochu. Water seemed to drip from the hallway air‑conditioner, and towels were left hanging.

Conveniently close to the station. The bath and washbasin smelled moldy and was a nuisance.
