“Lindo, aconchegante e tranquilo.”

The place is beautiful, very peaceful, close to nature, and has a great location. The lodge staff are sensational, super friendly and attentive, always ready to help with anything needed. Breakfast is a delight, served in the lodge restaurant, a comfortable spot with a lovely view of the Serra. We loved every day there and will definitely return. I was very happy to discover this accommodation.

“Encanto”

The retreat is a find for those who want to stay a bit away from downtown Ouro Preto. Stunning scenery, comfortable rooms (the chill during our stay didn't make us miss an air conditioner), simple but delicious breakfast, and I must mention a gentleman as host. Rapha is the type of person you can spend hours chatting with and, as a bonus, he gives great restaurant recommendations in Ouro Preto. We were enchanted by the details of our reception up to check‑out day. if we get the chance, we’ll definitely come back. If you plan to travel daily to Ouro Preto and its surroundings, the distance (especially due to the poor road conditions) is a bit of a hassle. But nothing that outweighs the peace and friendliness of the Retreat.
