Bed and Breakfast Giaveno Rio

We stayed only one night, but it was a beautiful experience. The owner, very friendly and helpful, welcomed us with affection and familiarity. She made a fabulous cake and, since my husband is gluten‑free, bought him special gluten‑free sweets. The house was spacious and clean, equipped with everything needed. I highly recommend it.

The owner tried hard to make a heavenly cake for breakfast. The breakfast itself was adequate, especially since it wasn’t a full meal. Perhaps because the coffee was cheap, I would have added a few more biscuits. The environment! The photos on the website don’t match reality! The bathroom you see on the site is NOT the one at all! The bedroom is NOT the one in the photo; the only thing that matches is a picture of the kitchen, which the owner cleverly paired with other photos to confuse guests. The house is quite old, and the walls need maintenance. I never imagined writing a review like this, but I booked after seeing photos and then found something entirely different. The sleeping area (NOT the one in the photo the property posted) is far from comfortable and damp. I didn’t argue because I was with my wife and 8‑year‑old daughter. The price paid for a place like this is definitely excessive. I assume the positive comments I read refer to the B&B on the first floor. The B&B actually spans two levels. IF YOU ARE TO BOOK, BE VERY CAREFUL. IT MAY BE BETTER TO HAVE A VIDEO CALL AND CHECK FIRST! I’m really sorry.
