I had a wonderful stay at this secluded house in the Kyoto countryside. Our hosts, Hideo-san and Yukako-san, were incredibly warm and welcoming, and they even treated us to a delicious sukiyaki hotpot that was perfect for the chilly evenings. The surrounding area was serene and picturesque, making for a truly relaxing getaway.

“The location quit remote and you must drive there, Everywhere was well presented”

I appreciated the old-world charm of this heritage-style property, and the facilities were surprisingly good given its rural location. However, we visited during the winter months and found it quite chilly, and the heater, which ran on gasoline, gave me a bit of a headache. Overall, it was a decent stay, but could have been improved with a bit more attention to heating.

I had a wonderful time thanks to the extremely friendly owner, who made my stay truly special. Although the hotel's location wasn't ideal, I was more than happy with the service and hospitality I received. The owner's kindness really made up for any minor issues I encountered during my stay.
