The staff were friendly, kind and helpful. Breakfast was good value, location is excellent for touring the lakes. Rooms would benefit from an update but I appreciate this is difficult whilst offering a value price

The manor was stunning, and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, especially the gentleman who took our breakfast order.

The staff are absolutely amazing. They’re patient and kind with my dog, who can be verbally reactive, and they’re always ready to help. They even offered to watch my dog during dinner so I could go to the buffet as a solo traveller. They always fuss over my dog and are so understanding. I never get disappointed here and always come back. This was our fourth visit this year! The dinner food was delicious, as was breakfast. The room was spotless and cute. An absolutely perfect stay. I miss it already!

The ONLY thing that we liked was thesetting, it was very nice. 1) NOT Provided a working shower, 2) NOT Provided enough hot water for two people, 3)Sleeping on a duvet that was stained with what appeared to be urine. 4) the duvet smelled faintly of urine. We were not informed at the booking re the event that was taking place when we arrived. I found an email when I returned to my air b&b in the south today . We would not have stayed there. I wish we hadn't stayed there, the bed was awful, pilows like rocks. I spent much of the night in a chair. I sound like a complainer, I don't usually complain, but I hate that others will be staying there for more than one night
