The property felt very safe, was quiet, and the location was great for collecting gear for hikes; everyone was very friendly and helpful.

This is my second visit to Jo's place and every time it's fantastic. I love the rooms, the garden, the kitchen, and the lounge where I enjoyed good conversations with Vicky, Constantine, and other guests. It's a great spot for rest and meeting people.

The price is good, the location is convenient, and we could leave our bags on site while trekking and book treks there. However, the staff weren't very knowledgeable about the treks, there was a lot of dust under the beds, and the outdoor toilets and showers were cold and lacked hot water (3 out of 4 showers).
