I stayed at a historic hotel that had been completely renovated into a high‑quality establishment, and everything felt far better than what I’m used to; the bar and dining areas on site were nice, and there were no complaints at all.

“We really enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend this hotel highly.”

The location was terrific, and I loved the hidden speakeasy; the staff were delightful, the history was interesting and fun, and the bathroom was very nice. However, the bed was extremely high—if you’re under 5.6 you’ll need a step stool—and the standard king room felt very small, forcing me to use the sitting area as a luggage rack with no extra space, so the bed was too high to sit on.
