The old neighbors kept chickens, sheep, and tended a small, lovely garden that I could see from the window every day.
There was no restaurant even though it was listed, the pool was empty, and the coffee at €12 per person was scanty—just a splash of orange juice, two small toasts, a bit of salmon, and a croissant. That was it 😒

Honestly, for the price we paid, the facilities and service didn’t match what we had booked, so we were disappointed with everything. The place is NOT A HOTEL: it lacks any of the amenities a hotel should have (in fact, it’s classified as a 1* pension by the local authority) yet it’s advertised and priced as a hotel. First, the rude, insolent staff at reception threatened us; upon arrival we were told to leave the accommodation (even though we had already paid and hadn’t used it) simply because we asked to access the room 10 minutes early (we arrived at 14:50 and the check‑in time was, arguably, 15:00). The employee, clearly upset and lacking self‑control, told us to pay through Booking and find another place, claiming our reservation was made with Booking and not with them, so they had no responsibility. After I started a phone complaint with the platform and suggested involving local police, they immediately gave us the key to the paid room. I strongly recommend travelers find other places to stay in Finisterre to avoid being mistreated and to get value that matches the price.
