The spot was perfect—just a two‑minute walk to two great coffee shops and close to everything in Palo Alto. The bathroom was clean, the water pressure was good, the bed was comfy, and they handed out water bottles. USB charging was even on the bed frame, and when I asked, the host supplied an iron and ironing board.

The neighborhood and room were fantastic, and we shared the house with three other guests who were interesting and polite. The room and bathroom were very comfortable and nicely decorated, and having a full kitchen with a fridge plus a washer and dryer was a big plus. The owner is very nice and clearly cares about the property.

Very clean and safe, but I hadn’t realized the bathrooms were shared.
