“A beautiful hotel, but noise and service issues made our stay less relaxing than we expected.”
The hotel looks beautiful and the room cleaning was good, yet the housekeeping team woke us up just to ask if we wanted a cleaning, which ruined our sleep. Even though the cleaning itself was fine, the shampoo and other bathroom supplies were not replaced when needed, and we had to call for a replacement toothbrush. These items should be checked and provided during cleaning without guests having to request them. We were also frequently disturbed by noise from the room next door; we asked to move but no other room was available, so we had to tolerate the noise. When we asked for help booking a regular taxi, we were told to find one on the street or book a limousine through the hotel. We only wanted a normal taxi, but the hotel had no taxi contact numbers available. Our room had no balcony, which was disappointing because we wanted to enjoy the outdoor atmosphere. We expected more comfort and attention to these details from an international hotel.
