I found the room to be of decent size, and the breakfast was good, though I felt the €20 price tag was a bit steep. The bed was uneven, with one side sagging while the other felt solid.

The location looks good: Bus 255 stops in front of the hotel (doesn’t run on weekends) or Bus 12 is just a 3‑minute walk away, and both buses go to the S-Bahn station Hammerbrook, from which it’s one stop to the main station.

The hotel is right across from a bus stop, which is super convenient for a city trip. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially during breakfast times. The rooms were cleaned thoroughly within the limits of what was possible. Breakfast was fine and everything was fresh. Parking was a hassle; the hotel doesn’t allow e‑cars, so we had to find a spot on the side streets, which was free. The in‑room showers were damp, which showed up as a few silverfish. The mattresses were worn out and sagging. For older or disabled guests, note that the elevator doesn’t go all the way down—you have to climb at least one flight of stairs. The breakfast buffet is also only reachable by stairs.
