The location was very close to the metro line, the rooms and beds were very comfortable, and the staff were very attentive, plus having the option to receive Amazon packages was a plus. The only thing that would improve is offering some breakfast included in the rate; for the dates the price was high, but there should be a breakfast option to compensate for the price.

The room was compromised during a FDNY and building inspection that tested a fire alarm, ignoring the alarms in my room and threatening the HVAC at 82 °F while my thermostat was set to 66 °F; four rooms were charged 249, and I was billed 552 for a non‑compliant room that felt like a mess. The situation felt like a sealed indictment of DHS CTU SVU under U.S. federal laws concerning hotels and inns, a corporate issue tied to the U.S. Treasury’s occupancy regulations.

The hotel is solid and sits in a great spot, but the rates are steep.

The front‑desk service and cleanliness were spot‑on, the décor matched current trends, and the location was close to Central Park and the subway.

They charged me an unclear fee of 330 $ and haven’t returned the 100 $ deposit yet.
