Excellent breakfast. No.
“Très bonne option pour les voyageurs d'affaires.”
A very nice hotel, very comfortable, very clean, and the lunch is excellent! The on‑site dining is limited (the Chinese restaurant is pricey and the lobby bar menu is restricted). There are other dining options around the hotel, but no public transport access; reaching a restaurant takes about 20 minutes by taxi.
“Uitstekend verblijf”
Excellent hotel with a wide breakfast selection. The only issue is that the bathrobes throughout the hotel are small.
A fantastic hotel in Nyanjsh. The room is huge, panoramic, with an ideal bed, a table for work and meals, convenient night lighting, and a massive shower – overall very comfortable. Breakfast is outstanding: papaya, passion fruit, freshly squeezed juices, European and Cantonese options, various dumplings cooked on the spot, noodles, and even daring choices for the adventurous. The courts are a 15‑minute walk away. It’s an extremely cozy place. There’s a spa where you can buy hats cheaply if you forget them, and a spa‑viewing area. The pavilion houses a house‑guest house with child entertainment. A high‑end restaurant is pricey but interesting. The hotel accepts cards and cash. Reception staff are wonderful, fulfilling all our requests, and room service is swift. Note: the Caesar salad oddly came with anchovies. The only downside is the lack of a foreign‑currency ATM; you must find one that exchanges dollars or euros into yuan. The hotel only has an ATM for card withdrawals. Payments are mainly via a WeChat‑linked card, which isn’t the focus here. It’s better to arrive with some yuan cash; otherwise a taxi from the airport can be troublesome if you don’t have a linked card or cash. We thought we could pay in dollars, but that ended up costing more than if we’d gone for yuan. Also ask for the taxi fare up front; we got a meter‑less ride and had to haggle like at a market. I hope these non‑hotel tips help other travelers.
The breakfast was excellent with many choices. The hotel was in a quiet spot with river and park views from my room. The room initially had a mouldy smell, but after reporting it, it became much fresher and an air purifier was used.
