There was a free parking spot. Unfortunately, the moment you entered the hostel you could smell a lot of mold… The ceiling in the bathroom had black mold, and even the shower curtain was moldy. I had to switch hostels because of breathing problems.

The location and comfort are incredibly good, and the staff are very helpful. I just wish there was a hair dryer.

The staff were friendly and the location was decent. The AC is there, but too many people walk into the room and leave the door wide open, which defeats any cooling the AC could do. Both staff and guests did this, so the room was a bit too warm in summer.

DON’T STAY HERE! In twelve years of traveling, this is the dodgiest hostel I’ve ever seen. No lockers, and my roommate said a guest was caught looking through my backpack while I was at the beach, sparking a full‑blown conflict. Women should stay even farther away; the hostel is all male.

GUEST RESPONSE TO THE BRAZILIAN PERSON WHO UNFAIRLY GAVE THIS ESTABLISHMENT A 1-STAR RATING First of all, stop twisting the facts to portray the entire hostel as unsafe and suspicious. If you are going to talk about what happened, tell the whole story. In this case, there is no proven theft. When the person who claimed that their bag had been searched checked it together with their Russian roommate, not a single item was missing, and nothing had been stolen. Despite this, an unnecessary scene was made, and the situation was blown out of proportion. More importantly, there is absolutely no evidence that I ever entered the room. I did not even enter the room, yet accusations are being made based on one person's unverified claim, and the entire hostel is being portrayed as unsafe. An accusation does not become a fact simply because someone makes it. Claiming to have traveled the world for twelve years does not automatically make your accusations true. Before damaging a business's reputation, you should tell the complete story and distinguish facts from allegations. Let's be clear: Nothing was stolen, no theft was proven, and there is no evidence that I entered the room. Yet you are presenting one person's accusation as if it were an established fact and using it to damage the hostel's reputation. That is extremely irresponsible. Before misleading people, tell them all the facts. There is nothing I didn't like; everything was as it should be
