We paid for a deluxe room with a water view or partial view, yet the room was listed as a standard room for less money in the app. The items in the room were broken: the sink was loose and cracked, there was mold around the shower, the pillows were lumpy and dirty. I would not recommend this place at all and would not stay again.

“Good room, ideal for accommodation while attending a Dinner or similar event.”

The room was well fitted out, clean, with a comfortable bed and a good separate shower room/toilet, and plenty of towels. The walk‑in shower was excellent – plenty of hot water. Tea, coffee, an iron and ironing board were provided. Because the room was on the first floor over a bar and accessed via a side entrance, there was no other service offered. That wasn’t a problem for me, as I only needed a bed, washing and ironing facilities, but it might be an issue for guests expecting a normal hotel provision. My only problem was accessing the TV channels, which required signing into a Samsung account that I failed to do. Breakfast was only available from 10 am at an additional cost.

The location is good. The stairs are horrible, especially when carrying heavy bags. It’s very loud from people walking in the corridors, the noise of lorries emptying bins, and early‑morning deliveries of barrels and staff.

“Good location - dirty room”

The mattress was awful; we were rolling out of bed. The room was very dirty, the skirting boards were thick with just. The bathroom sink was cracked with thick silicone everywhere. Thankfully we were only booked for one night. Location is good.
