“Ons verblijf was prima, goede ligging tov centrum Florence. Redelijke prijs/ kwaliteit.”

The location was fantastic, just a 20‑minute walk from the Dome and all the other sights. The host, a pleasant older man who was very helpful and served a delicious breakfast, fulfilled all our requests, such as a later check‑out because we had a party on our last night. On the street right in front of the hotel there was no spot for our car, and even trying to park nearby to unload before the door was impossible without people complaining. Luckily we could park with friends, but otherwise I wouldn’t have liked to park a few streets away. Communication with the host was somewhat difficult because he didn’t speak English and we didn’t speak Italian, but we managed via Google Translate. My shower was in the hallway, and I didn’t see anyone else using it; maybe there were more showers, I don’t know.

“Uncomfortable, distant from city center, no elevator, it was difficult to carry the carry on suitcas”

There was a cigarette smell, apparently from one of the owners, even though the listing says it’s smoke‑free. It’s far from the city center and the public transport is hard to reach. The shower was very tinny; I’m small, but it was difficult to move around and shower.

The host was welcoming and friendly, and the room was absolutely gorgeous, with a big bed and plenty of space.

Everything was clean and tidy, and the host was friendly. The location is good, in a quiet area that was easy to find. Thank you.
