“I loved the place, the location, the staff, the owners the bed: everything!”

They gave me my own entrance and left me alone, but when I needed anything they went out of their way to help. I apologize for the spelling, but the manager—she’s the best friend you could ask for—speaks flawless English, knows Chiang Mai inside out, and is there almost every day, making her the go‑to guide. The evening and night staff are also wonderful and helpful. When it rains it’s pretty loud, but that’s a good excuse to sleep or turn on music or TV. If you need a cooker, iron, plates, or anything else, just ask! The location is very busy with dozens of grocery shops, food places, and street food that give you a real Chiang Mai vibe. A block away there are pool and snooker clubs, and if you enjoy massage, hundreds of places are right there. I liked Spa Mantra, just three minutes away, and it’s run by real professionals. The immediate vicinity isn’t very touristy, but the boxing stadium and Ladyboys cabaret are seven minutes away on foot. The old town is a bit of a walk, but I guarantee you’ll enjoy seeing real everyday life more. There’s plenty of nightlife and Korean buffets. ITM massage school is nine minutes away on foot if you want a two‑day or five‑week course—fun! The rooms are above a pharmacy, so you don’t have to worry about unwanted wildlife or greasy smells; I think the pharmacy owners own the building, and they’re great people. I stayed almost three months and can’t say anything negative. Maybe just not enough natural light—there’s a big window, but I didn’t want guests passing by seeing me. The beds are very comfortable, which I appreciated after moving to another city. You have a kettle, a refrigerator, a microwave, and as I mentioned, ask the front desk if you miss home food. There are thousands of restaurants you can order delivery from using the “Grab” app or by going outside. It’s a very, very safe but busy area.
