The reception was a hassle – we had to find a staff member ourselves to check in, the duvets were far too thick for the season, and the cleaning was inadequate.

The hotel was clean and well presented, the room and bathroom were well equipped, and the Nespresso machine with capsules was a nice touch. However, there was no one at reception when we arrived so I rang the bell; the room‑maid arrived quickly and was surprised to see us, while the receptionist just ran through the routine without a smile or any connection to the guests. The breakfast at 18 EUR was a bit shabby and disappointing, the coffee from the machine lacked intensity and aroma, and the continental pillows caused us trouble, so we used clean, dry towels from the bathroom as pillows instead.
