“Be careful”

The staff were very polite. The room was very damp and wet, and the shower floor was extremely slick, causing me to fall and bruise my left side. My son was also doing splits in the shower. I didn’t get a good rest and am still trying to get a partial refund. I’m just glad it wasn’t an older person who fell. The manager said they would install anti‑slip mats in the shower and filed an incident report.

“Loved it cleaned friendly”

The staff were extremely understanding when we told them our flight had been cancelled and changed several times and we needed a room where we could sleep to catch a 4 am flight out of Des Moines; the environment was very pleasant. The only thing I can think of is having breakfast a little earlier for guests leaving early; I saw workers leaving. It could be something simple to grab and go.

I've always been impressed with the cleanliness and comfort of my room, and I was pleased with the restaurant experience during my stay. However, I was a bit disappointed that I didn't receive the warm cookies that I've come to expect upon arrival.

“Sadly, the only hotel in a reasonable distance”

My stay at this hotel had its share of highs and lows. The location was a major plus, making it easy to get around and explore the area. However, things took a turn for the worse when we discovered that the hot tub, which was listed as a feature in our booking, had been removed without any notice. The breakfast spread was also a letdown, with the eggs tasting unpleasantly chalky and a lack of meat options beyond the pork in the biscuits and gravy.
