“Tip top”

A very friendly welcome in a charming house that’s beautifully decorated. We had a great stay and will return to enjoy the place longer! Nothing was wrong, everything was perfect.

“Du bon et du moins bon ; on aime ou on n'aime pas.”

This accommodation has some strengths, but to be honest I wasn’t very impressed. The house looks old, and despite significant effort to improve comfort, it didn’t match the prices, so the value for money is poor. I stayed in a non‑charismatic room on the second floor without an elevator, and the walk from the parking was not appealing. I only met the host at breakfast, so settling in wasn’t the easiest. The décor is emphasized with many small decorative items placed everywhere, which can be charming or cluttering. There’s an instruction sheet, but it doesn’t explain how to use the TV (which I chose to ignore) or how to adjust the air conditioning. I assumed the AC wasn’t adjustable because pressing the buttons had no effect. Luckily it wasn’t a scorching day. Coming from the Roussillon, where I had an idyllic stay at a 4‑star Best Western that deserved 10/10 for a lower nightly rate, the disappointment was sharp.
