Great location, lovely host, clean and had everything we needed.

“Würde ich wieder buchen!”

A really nice house with two rooms on the ground floor and a super-equipped kitchen that we shared with the other guests. The view of the lake was fantastic and we could sit comfortably outside, where there was also a gas grill. The fridge in the kitchen that belonged to our room was broken, and there was another fridge in the room that you could hear at night.

Close to all the places I needed to go, but the drive to the property was a long, curvy road—just a bit of a hassle.

The staff greeted us warmly and the lake view from the room was fantastic, plus the surrounding area was really peaceful. The place felt spacious and the kitchen was well stocked, which made it the highlight of our trip. The only thing that didn’t click for us was the décor – it leaned toward an old‑fashioned style that isn’t our taste, though everything was in good condition.

“My stay was a welcome break from the drive through smoky highways at the time. The host was lovely and friendly, always”

The apartment was spotless and the lake would have been a gorgeous backdrop if not for the smoke from nearby fires, which was clearly out of the host’s control. Getting up and down the many stairs was a bit of a workout, especially with all my luggage, and the kitchen felt cramped with a tiny fridge that barely worked. I left a day early because of the haze, but the clean rooms and king‑size bed were solid, so I’d still recommend it for a sunny, smoke‑free visit.
