A good hotel: the room was very comfortable and clean, and the restaurant food was exquisite. The location isn’t ideal; it’s in a noisy area and you can hear cars and motorcycles late into the night.

The bathrooms were old and moldy, the TV only had YouTube and no Netflix, and a sofa bed was placed in the middle of the room even though I had asked for a double bed; we were also denied breakfast because the staff said it was 9:00 am, but in reality there was an event in front of the hotel that ended the meal. In Otavalo I paid 59 dollars for a double room with a magistv bathtub and a shiny bath.

The location was great, close to restaurants, bars, and on a central street of the city, but the pool and overall facilities had an unpleasant odor.
