It was a wonderful stay; we were pleasantly surprised by the good food served at the restaurant, the place was very nice, the people friendly, and it was a calm environment.

This is my 5th or 6th time that I stayed at Clarice House. So that speaks for itself. ;)

The place was quiet and the staff were welcoming, but there were a few bugs in the room; spraying insecticide would fix that.

The property’s location matched the description perfectly, with a lovely, toddler-friendly garden and ample parking, and the staff were friendly, breakfast was tasty, the restaurant food was great, and the rooms were very clean. However, I booked a two‑bed room facing the main garden, which made it noisy—TV, music, and guests talking outside were audible, and kitchen smells drifted in; traveling with a 6‑year‑old who goes to bed early made the noise and odors a big drawback. I didn’t know the layout beforehand, and when I asked at reception they apologized but said that was the only two‑bed room available.
