The room was nice and stylish, there was a bike shed with charging options but you couldn’t tie your bike to a fixed object except the water pipe, and there was a parking spot for a car. However, the room had many cobwebs on the walls, on the hallway doors and in the breakfast room, and after three days the cobwebs had even hung from the peeling paint on the walls. The breakfast schedule was inflexible; when we tried to change the late‑evening time, no one was there (and in the mornings there was hardly anyone). The breakfast spread was very sparse for the €25 per person price: only five slices of raw ham were offered for six guests. Refills were also sparse, everything was kept tight. They advertised fresh fruit—grapes, fuzzy apricots, a small bowl with five blackberries, four strawberries, etc.—for six to eight guests, but the bowl and fruit were never refilled. A nightmare: the cold chain was broken; a finished Baur yogurt sat uncooled and the next day the same ones were displayed again without cooling. I marked the cup to see. They claimed all products were regional and fresh, but it was just pre‑filled Baur yogurt. Bread: several varieties were available, but only one of each was displayed. If the partner wanted the same, it wouldn’t work; you had to wait for a refill, and sometimes another guest got it first (only one was refilled). It was more show than substance, especially considering the €25 breakfast. The manager was inflexible about extending the stay, even when we asked for a good price. The bike shed existed but was open during the day and locked at night, so you couldn’t bring your bike in late; the shed was locked and no one on site could open it. It was basically just a hotel garni. A church bell rang next door. The parking lot was unkempt with weeds.

The hotel is very well kept in traditional Bavarian style. The bed and bedding are soft and cozy, the rooms are spacious, and the back garden and sitting room are peaceful to sit at the end of the day. It’s fine, but there isn’t a front desk reception. It took a while to figure out that the lovely woman who serves breakfast is the point of contact for everything else.

The location is within walking distance of the center, which was pleasantly surprising and interesting for us, and also within walking distance of several restaurants. The breakfast was truly never before such an extensive fresh breakfast: coffee, juice, jams, fresh crunchy bread rolls, cold cuts, cheeses, fruit, yogurt with all sorts of goodies, eggs, honey. It’s there and it’s there. The room was gorgeous, gorgeous! Very nice, new, stylish, a wonderful bed, very spaciously set up. There is a little church next to the accommodation that rings every fifteen minutes, half an hour, and an hour. Sleep with the windows closed or use earplugs. Tip for the manager: a fan in the room could remove the stuffy feeling if the windows are closed.

Our suite was very high‑quality and tastefully designed. The décor style, as you can see in the photos, is modern, minimal, yet cozy. In the historic house it stayed pleasantly cool even with the high temperatures. The location is central and still very quiet—we could sleep well with the windows open.
