It was a good stay. There wasn’t much noise.

The location is convenient and the place is clean. However, the room had a strong, moldy carpet smell. I mentioned it to reception, and she brushed it off, claiming a previous guest had used strong cologne. She suggested opening the windows and cranking the split system fan. I left the windows open all night and ran the fan at full speed, but the odor persisted, making the stay very unpleasant.

We found the River Street Motel very comfortable and enjoyed our stay there.

We’ve stayed here four times now; the room stays clean, comfortable, and quiet, and the motel is not very far from shops.
