“It was convenient next to the highway”

The bathroom could use an update, but overall it was fine.

The sink was stained, the tub drain was corroded, and mold was in the coffee machine. The booking site showed a whirlpool, so we were super disappointed that the room didn’t have one as advertised. My husband and I travel for work a lot, and this hotel didn’t meet our expectations.

We weren’t warned that the pool was under remodel, the fridge had mold, and the reservation was for four people but only two towel sets were in the room. When I asked for more towels, they made a big deal about it.

“We got some of the sleep we needed”

We arrived late, so the sign saying the pool was closed until further notice didn’t bother us. The room was spacious enough for everyone’s stuff. Breakfast didn’t start until 8 am, but we needed to leave by 6–6:30 am to get to the university in Canada. We left and no one was at the desk, but food was laid out on a side table in bags. We opened a bag for an apple so my child could eat before hitting the road, and we had to grab something at a gas station. A sign said the pool was not in service, even though the website clearly listed a working swimming pool.

“Horrible, never staying here again.”

The only good thing about this place is that it is pet friendly. The pool has been out of service for several months, with no notice on the booking site. Breakfast was poorly stocked: the cereals were stale, the eggs were mostly water, the juice was extremely watered down, and the sausages were under‑cooked.
