“Coś strasznego... nigdy więcej”
The location is a quiet spot in the Czech Republic, about 70‑80 km from Prague, away from main traffic. Unfortunately, the property’s cleanliness and standards are not monitored by Booking, and the price of roughly 80‑100 EUR for 3‑4 people is not justified by the conditions. Only cash is accepted, and the rooms and bathrooms are covered in dirt and mold—just a few photos in the attachment show this. The owner, an older gentleman who seems to have a younger family member, rarely checks the floors, perhaps once a month. The linens and towels raise questions about their freshness; it’s safer to bring your own. I was afraid to bathe in the tub for fear of fungal infections, and everything in the room feels sticky, so touching it is scary. It’s best to rely on Google reviews rather than Booking, as the latter truly reflects the sad state of the property over the past two years. The Czech Sanepid should close the place as soon as possible. Ukrainian and other foreign workers use it, but they’re paid by the employer, not by themselves, and the conditions are far from suitable for staying. The shared fridge and kitchen for two rooms are generally clean, but we’ve stayed in dozens of other Czech guesthouses on Booking and never seen anything like this. The owners should check standards in other Czech, Slovak, Polish, and Hungarian guesthouses for such a price. I strongly advise against staying here if you care about your health.
