The place was absolutely stunning when I arrived. It felt secluded, yet that sense of isolation could make you feel lonely. Nature surrounds you everywhere, which is truly beautiful. The food was also incredibly delicious.

“Quiet simple yet luxurious stay with beautiful views”

The place feels like a private oasis – we spent hours by the pool and took the complimentary kayak and SUP out on the water, soaking up the scenery. Breakfast on the terrace was a real treat with plenty of choices. The downside is the location; it’s tucked away, so any outing off‑site means hiring a taxi boat, which can add up, though the staff make the booking easy.

The staff were friendly and gave us solid local tips, and the limited number of rooms gave the hotel a quiet, intimate vibe. We liked the pool, the restaurant was decent, and the big, comfy bed slept well; the AC lets you direct the airflow, which was handy. The only paddle board we got was fun, but for a group of seven it was far from enough, and we had to bring our own large water bottles because only tiny ones are sold on site.

The spot is beautiful, though it sits a good distance from Abraó and the taxis to get there are pricey for round trips. The staff are genuinely kind and helpful. On the flip side, I felt the price didn’t match the offering: the rooms could have been cleaner and the bed was rather uncomfortable.
