The place was pleasant overall, but being right in the city centre meant a fair amount of noise despite the nice garden out back. It’s a decent spot if you don’t mind the hustle and bustle.

The hotel is conveniently placed and the staff were genuinely friendly, making check‑in easy. Nothing else to complain about.

The owner was laid‑back and we could tuck our motorcycles behind the gate, which was handy. Unfortunately the rooms felt stuck in the past and the bathroom had a persistent unpleasant smell.

It’s right in the heart of the city, which is great for getting around, but the cleaning chemicals left a strong, lingering scent that was supposed to mask the toilet smell. The plaster walls let you hear everything from neighboring rooms, the bedroom felt oddly oversized for the space, and they didn’t even give a receipt for the night. I can’t recommend it.
