“beautiful experience”
Everything was beautiful and clean, and there was nothing to complain about.
The hotel was more than wonderful, and the quietness was the best thing about it.
“مخيبه”
The bellman and luggage service were terrible; I spent about two hours waiting after arriving for a shoot, and no one helped move our stuff from room one to room two, nor did anyone come to collect our luggage when we left. I felt that the lack of a tip for the bellman the first time affected the help we received later, which is unacceptable. After returning the croissant, I requested a drink and paid through the usual payment device, but no one told me the transaction had failed. Later, after leaving the hotel and returning home, I discovered the device hadn’t taken the money, and I began receiving repeated calls from an unknown number, followed by a WhatsApp message the next day demanding payment. I explained that I had tried to pay, the transaction wasn’t completed on my end, and I wanted to speak with the manager about everything that happened. The most shocking issue was the room cleanliness: I found underwear belonging to a previous guest in a corner of the bathroom, removed it only to place it back in the same spot, and I have photos to prove it. That underwear was not mine or anyone I was with. Having a previous guest’s underwear in a supposedly cleaned, inspected, and handed‑over room raises serious questions about how the room was cleaned and checked. I travel a lot and have stayed in four‑ and five‑star hotels worldwide, and I’ve never experienced such a level of disorganization, poor service, and lack of professionalism. It’s even more surprising that this happened in a hotel of this caliber in Kuwait. I’m not writing this review for a single incident or just to complain; I have evidence, and the hotel can review the cameras, my check‑in and check‑out times, and the movement between rooms to verify everything I’ve said. The reception staff were slow and unprofessional, the Indian receptionist raised her voice during a phone argument and continued shouting inside the lobby, which was inappropriate in front of guests. The croissant from the hotel café was bad—old, reheated, and tasted like plastic, so I returned it. I had requested an upgrade a day before arrival, emphasizing that we were shooting and needed a good window for natural light. The receptionist told me we had been upgraded, but I later found out it only meant a higher floor. After checking in, I went to the room and discovered the windows were too high for shooting. I should have been offered available options, especially rooms with balconies or better lighting, and told of the price difference; I was willing to pay extra. Instead, I had to go back down and request a new upgrade, and the room change and luggage move took over an hour. The room key issue was also problematic: after the room change I needed a new key, which should have been done instantly at reception. The staff asked me to wait five minutes, I waited about fifteen minutes, and when I asked, she said she was busy and raised her voice at me before finally giving me a key that could have been handed out in minutes. The bellman and luggage service were again very poor, as shown in the cameras: I stayed only about two hours for shooting before leaving, yet a large portion of that time was wasted waiting.
“المسبح رائع”
The location and the pool were great, but the workers in the morning were noisy.
