“Lovely place”
The spot is gorgeous, spotlessly clean and tidy—nothing to complain about.

The breakfast was just okay, with the usual items, but the price for kids was the same as adults. The reception was spotty; we were mistakenly booked for two adults and one child instead of two children, forcing us to upgrade to a larger room, which was a downgrade. That extra room smelled and was noisy, and we lost the view from the main room. The bed in the main room was set up with only a sheet and no pillows, so we had to use towels. No one was at reception that hour to help, and when we reported it the next day there was no empathy. We ended up paying $2757.00 for three nights, which felt poor.

Staying on the island was far better than a day trip; the meals and buffet breakfast were high quality, and being right on the beach for snorkeling was idyllic.

The location is beautiful and Foxy’s bar is good. We avoided the other restaurant because the prices were ridiculous, but the breakfast included in our stay was lovely with good food. I didn’t like that we couldn’t bring our own cooler, esky, or alcohol. After paying so much for the hotel and ferry, we felt scammed into spending extra money and were limited on baggage. In our room there was an entire kitchen that we and our friends staying a floor down couldn’t use—absolutely a scam. Foxy’s bar and the staff were fine, but the resort restaurant was ridiculously priced with tiny portions, so we didn’t spend there. One bald staff member was extremely rude to all six of us, speaking to my sister and her partner in the lobby about whether they were “hotel guests” and telling them to leave if they weren’t. They weren’t guests, but after I’d paid a lot to celebrate my birthday, I expected them to be allowed to stay at the hotel before their ferry. They were about to book a hotel that night but after being spoken to like that they refused to support the hotel or pay more. We lost a sale for the hotel. What upset us most was seeing him stop a disabled gentleman who was trying to walk on the flat path with his walker because the coral was usable, and the staff member told him to go somewhere else. Where is your hospitality? This made us furious; you could see he was disabled and needed extra assistance, yet the staff member was not friendly, and the island is not disability-friendly.

The facilities are good, but for the penthouse price we should have had breakfast included on a three‑day stay.
