The hotel feels like it’s about to close, equipment is broken, there are lots of mosquitoes, the pool was unclean and the water tasted awful. The walkways around the area are slippery, and there are many red ants that are bad for me and my children.

The room was spacious and comfortable, but there was no on‑site restaurant, no reception desk, and nobody spoke English.

The staff at this hotel were extremely courteous and polite, and the accommodation was well-equipped. However, the hotel's location was a bit of a drawback, as it's situated a bit outside of Kampot. If you want to go out for dinner in the evening, you'll need to take a tuk-tuk into the city.

I was initially impressed by the hotel's beautiful architecture, which matched the photos perfectly. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room was spotlessly clean. However, the lack of staff was a major issue - the few employees I encountered spoke no English and were only present briefly before disappearing again. Even paying for the room was a challenge. To make matters worse, the breakfast I was expecting wasn't available, and I had to drive 3 kilometers to the nearby town to get it.

I had a truly wonderful stay, with excellent comfort, cleanliness, and a lovely setting. The pool was spotless and a great size, allowing us to relax after a long day of sightseeing. The rooms were spacious, and the family room we booked was perfect for families. However, I was a bit disappointed to find that the staff were scarce in the late afternoon, with only a guard on duty who didn't speak a word of English.
