The hotel's location near the railway was a double-edged sword - while it was convenient, it also meant we were constantly exposed to noise and people staring at us like strangers. Unfortunately, the pool was a letdown.

I'm still a bit uneasy about the way they handled my payment. After booking through their website, I received multiple follow-up emails from the hotel, which seemed unnecessary. To make matters worse, the reception staff also contacted me about the payment, which felt a bit fishy.

We really enjoyed the lively atmosphere at the hotel's bar and restaurant, which was bustling with locals and tourists alike. Our room was basic but spacious and clean, which was a plus. However, we got taken advantage of by the restaurant staff, who didn't show us the credit card machine before asking for our PIN, and we ended up overpaying by £40.

Unfortunately, our stay was marred by a terrible welcome and a lack of functioning equipment. We had to insist on repairs, which was frustrating.
