I was drawn in by the vibe and the on‑site bar, and the décor really hit the mark. Unfortunately, the first room they handed me was unclean and a bit gross to walk into, and when they swapped me for a second room it turned out to be noticeably smaller, which let me down.

The staff were friendly, which was a plus, but I found bed bugs and a couch that had food just swept under it, which was disappointing.

The location is nice. The King suite we liked the layout, with the bed in the middle of the room. The bed pillows were very disappointing—too soft and no support. The breakfast needs improvement: the eggs were cold, the sausage was overcooked, the coffees were both too strong and almost empty, and the waffle batter didn’t even have a serving left in it. It didn’t seem busy enough to run out of so many items.

The room was spotless and the cleaning lady did a great job, but the parking lot was a mess with trash and rocks from the flower beds everywhere, and we had to pay $5.00 a day to park even though we found beer bottles and other garbage around our truck – definitely not what I expected.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the lobby was clean, and breakfast was good; we only stayed one night so we didn’t use the gym. The hallways were clean, but the sink and refrigerator in our room were broken. A maintenance man arrived quickly, was polite and fixed both issues, so overall the stay was good and the staff were great. However, the room needed better cleaning—pillows on the couches weren’t cleaned, and there were bad smells. We found a sock from an old guest behind the door and the couch was visibly stained, so we didn’t use it and had to re‑clean the room and spray a lot of scent‑good spray.
