The lodge and gardens are absolutely beautiful and quiet; the rooms are spacious with stunning decor and comfortable beds, but the bathroom sink water came out in a tiny thin trickle, which was odd, there was no TV (a pity for my mother who can’t move around much and relies on it for entertainment), and there should have been a booklet or flyer of services and activities, including the reception number, menus, etc.; staff were a bit slow but still very pleasant.

The staff there was amazing, everyone was so welcoming and did everything to ensure we were cared for, but dinner options were limited, though this was quickly fixed when we requested more choices.

The place had a lot going for it—clean rooms, friendly staff, and a good location—but the meals left a lot to be desired. The food just wasn’t up to par with the rest of the experience.
