The cottage we were in was absolutely beautiful and well‑kitted out. We had noisy neighbours speaking loudly to each other and on their phones with continuous music playing. There were cottages further away from us. If the accommodation isn’t fully booked, people could be placed further apart. We came to enjoy some well‑needed rest, but this was not possible 😥

“Peascefull in the nature with the necessary comfort expected.”

Staff, accommodation and location are excellent. I enjoyed the peace and quiet overall; Ikhaya Lama-Dube is an exceptional place to stay. The single small basin has a too‑long tap, and the bathroom and boma need more light.

“Het wildpark viel tegen, geen ongerepte natuur, overal bebouwing en hekken.”

It was a very luxurious lodge, very expensive, but I found it worth it. We were first in another lodge that was very disappointing, located right in the middle of the park; we upgraded and it was perfect. The ladies who helped us move were very top, extremely friendly and helpful.
