The value for money was fair; compared to other places we spent less, which heavily influenced our decision. The beds were comfortable, the room was well heated, and it felt very cozy. Some maintenance issues could be improved, but given the price a few defects are tolerable. Unfortunately breakfast was not included, and while the location is good you can’t park for free, so you have to drive to the nearest paid lot, which is a bit annoying and should be clarified at booking.

The building did not match the photos, and the room was old with an out‑of‑spec electrical system; plugging in the TV caused a short circuit that sparked and left the room dark, and the door wouldn’t close properly.

The entrance and staff were welcoming, but the rooms felt a bit dated for the exterior appearance of the building; the bathroom had been renovated but the room itself and the furniture were old, and the price seemed high even though we stayed during the Lucca Comic Fest.
