The room was basic but had all the necessary comforts: the beds were comfortable, there was a nightstand on each side, a bathroom in the room, functional Wi‑Fi, a terrace overlooking Vardzia’s troglodyte caves, a large garden with swings and hammocks, and a very calm environment. Across the road you find a tasty restaurant with a view of the river. At arrival, Nasi offered tea or coffee and gave you all the local points of interest. Nasi was incredibly kind and gentle, bending over four times to help you. This place is a gem that I recommend to everyone! The extra perk: a bus stop right at the hotel’s foot for trips to Tbilisi or Akhalstikhe. Nothing was wrong, everything was perfect.

The view from the balcony over the Vardzia was gorgeous, especially at night. The hosts were wonderful and even drove to the city pharmacy for us.
