“Beautiful”

The location is spot on—everything’s within walking distance and the view is outstanding. I appreciate that it’s a motel with exterior parking, giving more privacy, no thin walls, no hallway kids, and no long walks with luggage. The staff and housekeeping were helpful, attentive, and welcoming without being intrusive, and they actually fulfilled requests instead of just flattering. The room itself was fine; the mattress slept well and was comfortable enough. Cleaning could improve—towels should be checked for stains and hair before being placed in rooms. Overall, nobody’s perfect, but the service and privacy are great; just tighten up room cleanliness.

“The location is great and view is beautiful, but cleanliness and customer service were disappointing”

The room’s view was excellent, and being right on the beach was a big plus. The bed and bedding were comfy, and housekeeping was friendly. However, upon arrival the balcony was covered in a thick green slime from condensation runoff off the A/C unit, making it impossible for our dog or toddler to use it. I texted the “front desk” number for help and asked for a broom or deck brush, but never heard back. The problem worsened over the stay, rendering the balcony—our main reason for booking—unusable. The tile floors were very dirty, leaving black smears on our bare feet, and a white pillow that briefly fell to the floor was covered in black marks on one side when I picked it up.

“Tolles Hotel am Meer”

The location was perfect, right on the beach with sea views—awesome. The floor was cleaned daily and the bed was made when needed. There were too few outlets, the air‑conditioning was very loud, and the free Wi‑Fi was decent but often better over the cellular network. The TV was okay, and Netflix and Amazon were available once logged in, though the connection sometimes hiccups when the stream is intense.

“Disappointed, would tell people it isn’t worth the cost”

Cute place in a great spot. They baited us with a beach view, but between the bulldozer and the bar patrons, the stay felt worth only about half the price.

I'm extremely dissatisfied with my recent experience at this hotel. Despite being given a refund due to maintenance issues, I'm still waiting for it 10 days later. The immediate refund I was promised never materialized, and I won't be considering using this place again. The whole ordeal has left me feeling frustrated and unhappy.
