The location and the building itself have an architectural and interior style, and the same building also has a restaurant that is very cozy and polite. The fridge that was promised in the description was not in our room.

Viimsi Manor Guesthouse Birgitta, nestled in the historic Viimsi Manor attic, offers 10 km from Tallinn’s center and 1 km to a white sandy beach. The on‑site Cocodrillo restaurant serves Italian cuisine, with an open terrace in summer. Guests enjoy boutique rooms, event spaces, nearby bus station, and a local store within a 3‑minute drive.

Privacy and a separate bathroom were good for a single night. It felt somewhat abandoned, the keys were handed over by a staff member from a nearby restaurant, and the special request to keep the beds together was not met. In the bathroom, a spray from the shower leaked through. The TV was old with a kinescope, showing only two Estonian programs.

The place was incredibly vague and the Indian SVIITTI felt like a 60s relic, yet the promised teakettle was missing. There was no restaurant at all—the entire downstairs was empty—and no staff anywhere. The key code didn’t work; it was a four‑digit code, but the door only had three digits! A resident let us in and explained that the upper floor only has rental apartments (even his), and we showed a picture and spoke different languages. He called the landlord, and with his help we got the keys and the room number. We waited and searched for a long time to figure out what was going on because the door wouldn’t open, and the back yard looked like a dead jungle or Bronx—really creepy. I didn’t sleep a wink, it felt like an old motel/hotel from the past, and I don’t recommend it to anyone. How could they still offer this with such outdated information from the 60‑70s? I suspect summer workers are renting it out as tenants right now. I imagined the suite would be lovely and relaxing in the shower with a glass window view, but it was an indistinct loft apartment where the ex‑room smelled of mold, the pet had been fed, the sheets were new, there were big and small towels, and the bathroom had a dirty shower drain (no water, unwashed), a small bar of soap, and shower gel.

The rooms had a really nice historic vibe and the bathtub was huge. The check‑in was a bit confusing because the restaurant server was scrambling to handle both hotel and restaurant reservations.

It was pretty cheap and the location was great—shops and other amenities were close by, and there was a nice nature walk nearby. It felt very private since we were probably the only ones staying there 😅😅. It was quite run down and a bit dirty. When we arrived the hotel door was locked with a sign to enter through the restaurant. Dust covered the TV, furniture, and lights. We found spiderwebs in our room. The bathroom tiles had mold and one towel had a big hole. The stone staircase to the second floor was very dirty.
