The location is very good and it’s clean; I recommend it, but beware that the Google Maps location is inaccurate—after passing it, I only found the owners’ GPS coordinates in an email 2.5 km away and had to return.

I spotted the place right on the camino, and the sunset view was genuinely stunning. Renting a bike cost about 2 euros for two hours, and there was a small fridge stocked with drinks, ready‑to‑eat sandwiches, and chips. I asked a question while I was there but never received a reply. The walk to the town is still a bit long, and the bike tires needed a serious pump; there was no lock, so you can’t secure it if you want to do some shopping.

The garden view is spectacular, and José Manuel’s friendliness is a highlight. This isn’t a suitable spot for pilgrims. A place like this should at least offer comfort, a hot shower, and nearby food. When I arrived, there were no towels, and the owner didn’t answer my messages via Booking or WhatsApp. I couldn’t shower upon arrival. I tried to buy food at the patio’s servibar, but they only accepted cash or an unfamiliar app. The sandwich I was about to eat had expired on 5 October. We woke up without power, so no internet or water. In the morning, José Manuel, who is very kind, finally gave me towels, but I had to wait for water because the previous day’s issue meant I couldn’t leave without a shower. If you’re a pilgrim, you know how crucial it is to depart on time. The accommodation is over 2 km from Oia and there’s nothing nearby to buy food. The suggested taxi services don’t respond, and without a phone line—my situation—there’s nothing you can do. If you’re a pilgrim, walk another 30–40 minutes to reach Oia, where you’ll likely find a better option.

The only redeeming feature was the view, though it’s poorly presented. There were no tables, just a few chairs, and a tiny fridge that can’t even hold a picnic. No microwave to heat food. I can’t fathom how this place gets a high rating amid all the negative reviews I’ve seen. It’s not a good place to stay. They make no effort to make guests comfortable. The address is hard to find, the door is difficult to unlock, and the room smelled like a wet dog—so we had to buy essential oil to mask it. The shower is a disaster; water splashes everywhere no matter how hard you try to stop it. All night there was a banging noise, like a belt buckle in a dryer against the thin wall. We could hear people next door talking and coughing. I repeatedly asked them to stop the noise, but they never responded. I never met the landlord or manager; they don’t seem to care about the rooms or guests. And, as many others have mentioned, it’s far from town with nothing nearby to eat or buy. I would recommend NOT staying here!

The camera offers a spectacular sea view, and the towels and sheets have a clean scent. The heater saved us during the rainy day on the Camino. It’s impossible to order take‑out because the recommended spot is too far, and there were flies despite everything being closed.
