The place was small and quiet, and the breakfast was excellent but not buffet‑style.

The staff were helpful and friendly, and the breakfast was fantastic, but there was no free beer.

The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, the shower and towels were first‑rate, and there was a real kipper for breakfast from the local smokehouse; however, the signage pointed the wrong way and I couldn’t find it easily, and I wasn’t a fan of the fruit juice already on the table, which was personal.
