“Mooie locatie”

The room was spacious and the location between the vineyards is lovely, plus the breakfast was well taken care of. However, a shower door was missing and replaced with a plastic curtain. The rooms feel dated and dark. The pool was non‑operational, which wasn’t a problem since we visited in October, but it looked unkempt. The lounge cushions also needed replacing.

“Convenient for a short 2-day stay with nice view of the vineyard but we visited many better alternatives around Etna!”

The Sicilian breakfast was great. When we arrived at 4 pm there was no staff on site and no one answered the advertised phone number! Luckily other guests gave us the owner’s personal cell. Inside our room it was quite dirty, with previous guests’ hair in the bathroom sink and shower. No evening meals were served, so you have to go to restaurants or stores. We were biking around Mount Etna, which meant riding on mountain roads at night—definitely not ideal!

The view was nice. The accommodation was tired, run down, and disappointing. For a short stay I wasn’t prepared for the lack of facilities, no restaurant open in the evening, and having to drive everywhere.

“Prachtige ligging, een gedateerd interieur, wel service gericht”

The location, breakfast, beds and service are great. The interior is really old and the restaurant is closed; we had booked with the restaurant for dinner that evening.
