“Overall, great stay if you have a car and willing to drive.”

The condo was excellent. The beach didn’t offer much for swimming, but that wasn’t the resort’s fault; the time of year was the real problem. The staff were great. The membership sales pitch was a major turn‑off: if you want to sell something, give guests the info and let them decide, don’t push hard in the moment.

“It was perfect for our family”

We were thrilled with everything except the ocean water, which was off‑color because of sargassum during our stay, and the property sits a bit away from the island’s main spots, though that distance let us escape the crowds; we rented a car, so that wasn’t a problem. The beach water was still an issue, and I’m not sure if that’s a permanent problem or just the season we visited.

I liked the breeze off the bar and the bed was comfortable, but the studio’s layout left little bathroom privacy; having the sink and tub open in a shared room isn’t my style. The room was clean but the design felt dated. A week before I arrived I noticed the rooms were $121 a night, whereas my earlier booking was over $300, and I couldn’t cancel the old reservation in time—feeling that was unfair given the steep discount. The ocean visibility was less than 4 inches; when wading in 6‑inch‑deep water I couldn’t see my feet, so I never went into the water at the hotel’s beach, which was disappointing.
